The team

Hassan MAA Founder and Managing Director

A graduate engineer of the École Centrale de Lille, Hassan MAA founded INTERP and runs it. For more than twenty years he has supported industrial companies and led, as team leader, programmes financed by MCA Morocco, the OFPPT, the EBRD and the CGEM, in vocational training, entrepreneurship and employment.

He is an accredited expert for supporting SMEs in exporting, and a registered expert with the Moroccan Agency for the Development of Logistics (AMDL) and Maroc PME.

Around him, a compact team. The Customs & Compliance practice is led by a manager dedicated to customs statuses and labels; partnerships, consortia and expert recruitment have their own manager.

For each assignment, the firm draws on an extended network of Moroccan and international consultants and experts, chosen for their specialty and supervised by the firm until the deliverables are handed over.

INTERP Conseil & Ingénierie is an independent Moroccan firm based in Casablanca. Since 2003 it has worked for industrial and service companies, professional organisations, public institutions and programmes financed by international cooperation.

Two practices

Consulting serves two audiences.

  • Public programmes and funding bodies: future strategies (blue and green economy, AI governance, strategic studies), training programmes, entrepreneurship and employment programmes.
  • Companies: strategy and development, operational performance and logistics, finance and funding.

Customs & Compliance takes companies to the statuses granted by Moroccan customs and the tax administration: AEO customs simplifications, AEO security and safety, joint customs and tax categorisation, approved exporter. It also measures their greenhouse gas emissions, including for the EU Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism.

The firm carried out 24 corporate responsibility assignments between 2008 and 2015, including preparation for the CGEM CSR Label. It no longer supports that labelling: this ground is now covered through emissions measurement.

How we work

  • Continuous follow up, from the first exchange to the end of the assignment.
  • A diagnostic that belongs to you, undertaken on a written proposal and closed with a clear report and priorities.
  • The decision stays with the issuing body. We commit to the quality of the work and the file; the decision to grant a status, a label or funding belongs to the organisation that grants it.
  • Discretion. We do not publish our client list.

For public programmes and funding bodies, we work as technical assistance or as a service provider, alone or in consortium, within the framework set by the commissioning body. We work in French, English and Arabic.
